As most of my clients know I started out as a wildlife and sports photographer and still enjoy photographing wildlife whenever I get the chance.
To that end I’ve partnered with the World Famous Topeka Zoo to periodically teach Zootography classes and our next one is coming up on October 11th from 8:00 a.m. – noon! We’ll spend the first hour in the outstanding educational building classroom and then venture out into the zoo to actually make some images. I’ll be on hand to answer both general photography questions as well as specific questions about animal and wildlife photography.
We limit the class to 15 people to keep things managable and it is targeted at adults and teens. Right now there are still some slots available, the cost of the class is only $10 per person and you can get a registration form here. The actual class description is online as well, you can read it here (scroll down). The zoo is a great place for all kinds of photography and I encourage everyone to come out and support the work they do. And hey, as a bonus you get to hang out with a cool guy like me for half a day!
Hope to see you there!
