Thank you for your interest in the DeShazer Studios Senior Model Program. If you’re interested in applying to be a model please read all of the information below first, it describes what’s expected of each model and what’s provided with the program. Use the link at the bottom of the page to fill out the on-line application and we’ll contact you to schedule a consultation interview!
Our models and model program are our primary source of advertising and marketing for high school senior photos. As such our Senior Models must:
- Be outgoing and willing to have fun
- Agree to be photographed EXCLUSIVELY by DeShazer Studios for their high school senior portraits
- Sign a model release
- Bring a parent in for a consultation interview
- Be willing to show off their senior photos and talk about their experience with DeShazer Studios
In exchange, each Senior Model receives:
- Up to three free photo sessions, including a Model Session in March or April, a full session before August and your choice of one of our themed “Campaign Sessions” (optional)
- Soft-cover model portfolio with approximately 20 images to show off to your friends!
- CD of select images sized to display perfectly on Facebook, MySpace or an iPod!
- Personalized Senior Model referral cards to hand out to your friends. Models earn credit for each referral card returned by a senior that books DeShazer Studios for their senior photos. Credits are applied to your senior photo order! Referral cards have the model’s photos on them and a special offer from DeShazer Studios for your friends! Only one card for each referral will be accepted, no multiples.
- Only Senior Models are eligible to be on the cover and interviewed in the printed editions of Z Magazine, the monthly fashion, beauty and photography magazine of DeShazer Studios. This is a monthly magazine but only two issues are printed, a Spring Edition and a Fall Edition, with the remaining 10 issues available online. While any of DeShazer Studios clients may appear in the online editions, printed editions are reserved solely for Senior Models! (Actual cover model will be determined by on-line voting of visitors to the DeShazer Studios web site.)
- Senior Models also have the opportunity to earn an iPod Touch, a Dell Laptop or Apple iPad or a cash scholarship!
- DeShazer Studios will choose one Senior Model and enter them for a chance to compete on spamodels.com and possibly attend the 2011 Senior Portrait Artists Event annual convention!
This program is intended to be fun, not for you to sell or pressure your friends! If you love your images (you will!), simply show your portfolio to your friends and hand out your referral cards. You’ll be saving them money with the offers on your referral cards as well as earning credit towards your senior photos!

Only a limited number of model positions are available and as much as we’d like to, unfortunately we cannot accept everyone into the program.
